On June 2nd, tails wagged and whiskers twitched with delight at Last Hope Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation in Wantagh, as 30 cozy pet beds arrived—handmade with love by Sharon D., Betty B., and Mary S. These thoughtful creations are more than just soft spots for the shelter’s dogs and cats to rest their heads; they offer comfort during their stay and often become a treasured “going home” gift when a pet is adopted. The shelter gratefully accepted the donation, knowing that each bed brings warmth and reassurance to an animal in need—both in the shelter and in their forever home.
